On the evening of 23rd a good cohort of Okehampton runners competed in another of the Dartmoor Fell Series. The Great Links Tor Flyer has one of the most challenging accents. The route starts at Gt Nodden before turning and dropping to the valley via a ford. From there it is a straight undulating run to Little Links and Great Links. With the accent done it is fast all the way down to Arms Tor, across to Widgery (Brat Tor), down to the river before finishing in the camping field.
Juniors ran a shorter route but 17 Yr old Stan Wood ran with the seniors. Stan came 3rd U17 in a time of 45.57.
Sam Priday was 1st U21 and 6th overall in 38.49
Ezekiel Evans came 1st U13 in the junior section and Jake Lane came 1st U9. Eleanor and Alistair Taylor also put in excellent efforts representing the junior section.
Other senior results are as follows:-
Tom Poland 43.15
Jo Lane 43.23
Charlie Temperley 43.44
Ian Ripper 48.47
Daniel Heggs 49.41
Ross Morley Trapnell 53.35
